ABOUT

Pigalle Tavakkoli has founded the School of Experience Design to empower others to create emotionally charged, unforgettable experiences.

She is a multidisciplinery specialist with 15 years expertise working with artists and scientists, in roles such as Creative Producer, Science Gallery London, and Head of Experience, Guerilla Science. She devised immersive story worlds which merged live and digital platforms, and produced events, programmes, installations and communication campaigns for clients such as the V&A, National Portrait Gallery, Barbican Centre, and multiarts festivals such as Latitude, Shambala, Wilderness.

Since 2012, Pigalle co-developed, and continues to teach, the UK’s first short course in Experience Design at the University of the Arts, London, which is ranked second in the world for art and design education. She is an Associate Lecturer at London College of Communications, London College of Fashion, GCU London, and a Visiting Lecturer at IESA arts and culture school, Paris, France. She also develops bespoke team training for organisations, creative agencies and brand clients such as The Guardian, Pukka Herbs, Unilever.

Pigalle is a Founding Member of the World Experience Organisation, a global network of pioneers, and an international keynote speaker.
