SHORT COURSES

Short courses take place live and online in real time for you to connect in-person with peers from around the world, increase your professional network, and receive direct feedback.

The Experience Design Building Blocks™ and Colour Psychology courses are lead by Pigalle Tavakkoli, award-winning educator, trainer for global brands, international keynote speaker and author. She is a leading specialist on the art and science of designing emotions, shifting thoughts, and behaviour change for long-lasting impact.

Courses involve visual slides, hands-on collaborative activities, business case studies, and the latest in scientific research across neuroscience, physiology, psychology and behavioural economics. On completing each course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement and leave with increased capabilities and confidence to apply the methods and frameworks to your projects and profession.

Since 2012, Pigalle has taught experience design at leading universities in the UK and Europe, and awarded by Educators for Impact, a European consortium of academies, businesses and networks, for her innovative teaching methods which empower cohorts to progress in their careers around the world.

EXPERIENCE DESIGN BUILDING BLOCKS™

The Experience Design Building Blocks™ live and in person course is based on Pigalle Tavakkoli’s guidebook and the eight building blocks to unlock their power and equip you how to apply them to your projects, practice and profession.

Instead of going through theory in a classroom, the active course takes place across cultural, scientific and retail venues throughout central London for you to be hands-on with collaborative exercises, and analyse real world application of the methods. There is also the option to join curated dinners at uniquely designed restaurants to further enrich learning.

Each day involves a blend of visual slides, location based exercises, group discussions, business case studies and the latest in scientific research, including neuroscience and behavioural economics. The course capacity is limited to 10 places for higher quality interactions.

The science-backed methods take you beyond designing form and function, to create products, events, services and campaigns that connect emotionally, form memories and lead to impact. This will position you at the forefront of the booming experience economy so can thrive in rapidly evolving times and future proof your career.

You will come away with understanding of experience design and the science that underpins it, a wide range of methods and practical skills, vocabulary to articulate compelling concepts, and ability to intentionally create emotional and unforgettbale experiences for maximum impact.
